Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, has earned commendation for completing the 16.4-kilometre Nawfija–Ajali–Ufuma–Ogbunka Road, a project described as a major catalyst for economic growth, tourism and agricultural development in Orumba South Local Government Area.
Vice President of Boardwalk Group and Abuja-based real estate developer, Chief Mrs. Obiageli Okwubanego, who spoke with journalists in Abuja, said the road has transformed transportation within the axis and reduced travel time to Awka from hours to about 15 minutes.
She noted that the project has also provided an alternative route that eases traffic congestion during festive periods, while opening up farming and tourism communities long neglected by previous administrations.
