Ex-PDP Chieftain, Fabiyi Emerges ADC Deputy National Financial Secretary



The pioneer financial officer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Oladimeji Fabiyi has been inaugurated as the Deputy National Financial Secretary of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

Fabiyi’s nomination was ratified by the Southwest zonal caucus of the ADC at the party’s meeting held in Ibadan on Tuesday.

Other officials of the ADC whose nomination were ratified at the Ibadan Southwest meeting include Mr. Akinbowale Omole, (National Vice Chairman SouthWest), Capt. Tunji Shelle (National Director of Communication & Programmes) and Alh. Kafilat Olayiwola (Deputy National  Woman Leader).

Others are Arc. Bashir Lawal (Assistant National Secretary, Diversity & Inclusion Secretary), Prof. Bode Ayorinde (Assistant National Organising  Secretary), Mrs Yidiat Oseni (Deputy Coordinator, Diaspora), Olufemi Adeleye, and Lady Lydia Olufunmiloye (Assistant National Woman Leader).

The National Secretary  of the ADC and former Governor of Osun State Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola while congratulating the new National and Zonal officers of the party, admonished them to work in the overall interest of the party. 

He maintained  that the ADC is being positively positioned to rescue Nigeria  from the grip of the ruinous APC.

"The task ahead is enormous, we must be ready to lead Nigerians out of the woods," he charged.

Fabiyi, who spoke  on behalf of the new executives commended the  exemplary  leadership  of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and promised the party leadership that the officers will be dedicated  to the success  of the party.
